Today I need to get something off my chest. I’ve been a fan of The Walking Dead for a long time now, but I just can’t believe the latest episode. I mean, I know the show is all about death and survival, but come on…
Carl’s Death Scene
Let me start with Carl’s death scene. I don’t know about y’all, but it hit me hard. I mean, Carl has been a main character since the very beginning. And then they just kill him off like that? I couldn’t believe it. And to make matters worse, they dragged it out for the entire episode. It was like watching a slow-motion train wreck.
Larry’s Death Scene
And then there was Larry’s death scene. Now, I know Larry wasn’t exactly a fan favorite. But still. The way they killed him off was just… I don’t even have the words. He was crushed by a salt lick, for crying out loud. It was gruesome and unnecessary.
Look, I know some of y’all might be thinking, “It’s just a show, get over it.” But I can’t. The Walking Dead has always had a special place in my heart, and watching it go downhill like this is just heartbreaking. I don’t know if I can keep watching.
